This free offline travel companion app offers an interactive map to help you plan your field excursions and will help you identify and catalog any birds you come across. The best part is that it works offline, so you don’t need an internet connection to use it.
How do I get started with Birds Check?
If you are a beginner, just download the app and start with the easy challenges. If you are a seasoned birdwatcher, start with the hard challenges.
You will be guided through a map with all the locations you have been to. Start with the easiest challenges and work your way up. Every time you pass a challenge, you will be given a new one. If you pass the challenge, you will get a new medal. Every time you get a new medal, you will get a new ranking. You can also get new rankings every time you pass a challenge.
